To ensure stability for this Large Fly-Thru Feeder, JCs Wildlife recommends mounting it to a pole using their Universal Pole Kit or Squirrel Stopper Denali Pole System. The Universal Pole Kit features a sturdy, rust-resistant design and stands nearly 5 feet tall when installed, with a tapered top that fits a "universal" 1-inch diameter. The included mounting bracket can be attached to the bottom of the feeder, allowing it to slide onto the pole and be secured with thumb screws.

The Squirrel Stopper Denali Pole System offers the same sturdy, rust-resistant construction, but with the added benefit of a patented spring-loaded baffle that moves up, down, and side-to-side to deter squirrels from accessing the feeder. This pole system should be installed at least 10 feet from other poles, walls, or trees to prevent squirrels from jumping onto the feeder.

The Large Seed Tray included with this feeder can hold up to 8 cups of bird seed and features a convenient handle for easy removal and replacement. Constructed from heavy-duty plastic, the tray has holes in the bottom for proper drainage, preventing the seed from getting moldy.
